Invite links are the primary way to add new members when your workspace is running in invite-only mode. You can also use them alongside open registration when you want to bypass the approval queue for specific people.Documentation Index

Requirements
You need theorg.members.manage permission to generate invite links.
Generating an invite link
Optionally target a specific email
Enter an email address to create an invite that only the recipient can use. Leave the field blank to create a generic invite anyone can accept.
Generate the link
Click Create invite. The token is shown once—copy it now. You cannot retrieve it again after dismissing the dialog.
Invite expiry
All invite links expire 7 days after they are created. After expiry, the token is invalid and the recipient will see an “invite not found” error. Generate a new invite if the original expires before the person accepts it.Email-targeted invites
When you enter an email address while creating the invite, the token is bound to that address. If someone with a different email address tries to accept it, they will receive a “invite not for this user” error and will not be added to the workspace. Use targeted invites when you want to ensure a specific person—and no one else—can use the link.Accepting an invite
The recipient follows the link, creates an account (or signs in if they already have one), and is added to the workspace immediately. No admin approval is required for invite-based joins.Accepting an invite adds the user as a standard member. You can change their role from Settings → Members after they join.
Open registration and the approval flow
If you enable open registration under Settings → General, people can request access without an invite link. Instead of joining immediately, they enter a pending state until you review their request. See Members & Roles for the full approval workflow.Approving a signup request
Approving creates the account and grants the default member role immediately. Denying discards the request without creating an account.
